1. What personal information we collect
When you use SlotPilot, we collect the information you choose to provide and a small amount of technical data needed to run the service.
- Account information: email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile information as provided by Google.
- Business information: business name, tagline, description, contact details, opening hours and services you add to your profile.
- Booking information: customer names, phone numbers, selected services, dates, times and appointment status created through your booking page or dashboard.
- Technical data: browser type, IP address, device information and cookies required for authentication and security.
2. Account information and Google authentication
You can create an account using Google authentication. We do not receive or store your Google password. Google shares only the profile information you have agreed to share, such as your name and email address.
Your email address is used to identify your account, send service-related notices and, if you choose, communicate with support.
3. Business and booking information entered by customers
Customers who book through your public booking page provide their name and phone number. This information is stored so you can manage the appointment and contact the customer if needed.
You are responsible for ensuring you only collect information you need and for handling customer data in line with applicable laws.
4. Payment information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. SlotPilot does not store full card numbers, CVV codes or other sensitive payment details on our servers. Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy and security policies.
We do receive subscription status, billing period dates and a customer identifier from Stripe so we can manage your account access.
5. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate and improve the SlotPilot booking service.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Display your public booking page and process customer appointments.
- Manage subscriptions, trials and billing.
- Respond to support requests and send service-related notices.
- Prevent abuse, fraud and technical issues.
6. How information is protected
We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, row-level access controls in the database and restricted access to production systems.
No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
7. Third-party services
We rely on carefully chosen third-party providers to run SlotPilot:
- Stripe for payment processing and subscription management.
- Google for optional social authentication.
- Hosting and database providers for infrastructure, security and backups.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We only share the information necessary for them to perform their services.
8. Cookies and essential website technologies
SlotPilot uses essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, maintain your session and protect the service against abuse. These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled without breaking core features.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Data retention
We keep your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, unless we are required by law to keep it longer.
Backup copies may be retained for a limited time after deletion as part of our standard backup procedures.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal information. You can update most account and business details directly in your dashboard.
To request deletion, access or correction of data you cannot manage yourself, contact us at support@getslotpilot.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
